Amsterdam Hackathon travel grants

Wikimedia UK is offering four (4) full scholarships to attend the Amsterdam Hackathon 2013 in the Netherlands on 24-26 May 2013. The deadline for applying for a scholarship is 8th March 2013.

What the scholarship covers

The grant will cover:

• Travel to and from Amsterdam
• Accommodation during the hackathon
• A per diem to cover local expenses

Requirements

In order to quality for a full scholarship, you must be:

• based in the UK
• able to travel to Amsterdam
• willing to feature in blog posts about the hackathon

To apply

If you wish to apply for a WMUK scholarship, please send:

• Your name and email address
• A rationale for why we should support your attendance, demonstrating experience as a community developer or sysadmin

to richard.nevell@wikimedia.org.uk prior to the application deadline.

Scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of Wikimedia UK, and will be decided upon based on the submitted attendance rationale.
