Abolishing microgrant vs macrogrants

On recommendation 1, "The formal abolition of the distinction between microgrants and macrogrants into a general project grants process, given the distinction now serves no real purpose." - I think that probably makes sense, but it's worth remembering that the two processes were intended so that microgrants were much more lightweight than macrogrants. If the difference is abolished, then care should be taken that microgrant applications don't have to start giving a lot more information either at the application stage or the reporting stage, while a much higher level of detail and reporting is needed for large macrogrant applications.

Also, 1 week is really too short a time to properly review a macrogrant; I'd recommend taking at least twice as long as that. Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 20:18, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
