About the event

Arranged jointly with The Royal Academy of Engineering, BCSWomen, BCS Open Source SG, Hampshire Branch and Southampton Solent University.

Booking required if possible , as limited spaces, via margaret.rossatsolent.ac.uk as we are using a laboratory, so there is no need to bring your own equipment, please put BCS Hampshire Editathon in the subject line. We can make arrangements if you need to arrive late – just let Margaret know your approximate arrival time when you book.

How do I prepare?

If possible, undertake research for information about subjects on Wikimedia's list of women, alive or dead, as role models, to have material (book reference, web page etc) ready for adding to their pages on Wikipedia during the Editathon. You can bring your research on paper or memory stick, but include references. If you have any questions, do ask me. There will be some research already undertaken which you could use in the editathon, if you have not been able to bring some – no prior technical knowledge needed.

The event will start at 4pm and finish at 5.30pm.
