Categorisation
Is there a reason why these minutes are categorised only with date? This means they come up in the category as "2"? But this has not been done consistently.? Leutha (talk) 13:25, 22 September 2015 (BST)
- The category uses a sort key, in this case so that the pages in the category are listed in date order. This would have been more useful when the format was in the form 'Minutes (month) (year)' but with the date in the format 2014-09-19 it effectively does it by default. I get what you mean, but "2" is a bit void of meaning. If there was no piping all the agendas would be together, then all the minutes and then all reports. The piping adds an exfra level of complication which might discourage volunteers from help out with this? Leutha (talk) 20:39, 22 September 2015 (BST)
- I guess that could be argued, but when it comes to volunteers helping with categorisation I would imagine that the people who take that on themselves are already familiar with aspects such as piping. By all means remove it as with the new page format it's unnecessary. Richard Nevell (WMUK) (talk) 12:58, 23 September 2015 (BST)
