					<description><![CDATA[Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world. Globally 600 million people live without electricity and 90% of them are in southern Africa. You&#039;ve seen &quot;The boy who harnessed the wind&quot;? Well we want to harness the internet. We plan to create a country where half of the people on Wikipedia are women.  Many do not complete primary education and girls become wives before they could consider a career. It requires enormous change and we can only hope to contribute. This doesn&#039;t require an editathon... experience from other large projects (e.g. Women in Red) is that an editathon won&#039;t even mark the surface. Women in Red has been running for ten years and in that time it has had over 300 on-line editathons and nearly 100 in-person events in Edinburgh - but its made a change. There are now many more women on en:Wikipedia and they make up 20% of the total biogs.

This new project doesn&#039;t have a name, but it does have a budget (of zero), early partners and ambition. We have the backing of the Scotland Malawi Partnership, Women in Red, Local Rotarys, Wikimedia Scotland,. The Malawian Women in Red list was under a 100 and now its over 500. There were very few free-to-use images but we&#039;re fixing that and we are still reaching out to gather more.... particularly in Malawi. You may be think that we are still missing stuff... we are .......... but we plan to talk to Wikimedians.]]></description>

For example, when plants convert carbon dioxide and water into sugar,it needs solar heat,carbon dioxide and water cannot synthesize sugar without solar heat,so photosynthesis is an endothermic reaction,but solar panels are different.A solar panel is a power generating device that generates direct current electricity when exposed to sunlight,all combined with semiconductor materials,the solar panel system will simply absorb solar photons to generate electricity,but does not absorb heat,so any solar panel needs a cooling device.

The sunlight emitted by the sun from its own star contains the energy and thermal energy of solar photons,photons are wave-particle duality,it&#039;s energy but it&#039;s also particles,heat is pure energy,so solar photons can carry heat energy to the earth together.Ok,first let&#039;s review,what is the photoelectric effect of solar panels!Einstein advocated,the energy of light is not evenly distributed,It is loaded on discrete photons,if an electron in a solar panel absorbs the energy of a photon,this energy is greater than or equal to some energy value associated with the metal of the solar panel,we call it the work function of the metal,because this electron has enough energy, it will escape from the metal of the solar panel,become a photoelectron, the photoelectric effect you learned about in school.

Then it was said that the solar panel only absorbs the energy of photons, but does not absorb heat energy,so imagine when the sun&#039;s light, led by photons, reaches the earth,according to theory, 30% of sunlight will be reflected from the earth back to space under the guidance of photons,but when the photons of sunlight are absorbed, where does the remaining 30% of the thermal energy go?

When you compare it to say music or other topic areas, its still a bit of a free for all. I recently saw this happen. Company A is a floated on a stock market in the Middle East, Company B is a 10 person startup in California. Company A has very little western media coverage, in fact they do very little PR. Company B&#039;s PR activity is on overdrive. Guess which one has a Wikipedia page? Answer - Company B. 

Company A amazingly had an article rejected for not passing GNG. How can this be? On one hand a PR savvy company that isn&#039;t even of regional or industry importance can have a page, but a nationally important corporation employing thousands can&#039;t because its PR efforts aren&#039;t in what Wikipedia deem credible sources. The first criteria I would therefore include is if you are listed on a national stock exchange - the business is notable. It really is a gaping hole on Wikipedia&#039;s notability criteria.]]></description>

Perhaps CILIP, with their current workforce development initiative, could take the lead?]]></description>
