Working together to build the education track at Wikimania, Future of Education Workshop
The Future of Education Workshop was a two-day meeting to create sessions for an education pre-conference at Wikimania 2014, happening simultaneously with the Hackathon. The education pre-conference brought instructors, librarians, educational technologists, and others up to speed on what's happening with Wikipedia and education -- and how they can participate and be inspired by the Future of Education sessions during Wikimania.
About 20-25 people came to the Future of Education Workshop to help plan the Wikimania Education Pre-conference, taking place on 6-7 August at the Barbican.
