Training the Trainer / August 2025 event

This training took place in August 2025.

We had an in-person training event in Birmingham, UK, attended by 12 participants who became part of our network of trainers who support Wikimedia UK programme activity in the UK on an ongoing basis. In addition, 19 people from seven different countries registered and attended a series of three online training sessions.

Participants took part in a WikiLearn course, hands-on workshops, and interactive sessions led by Programme Manager Dr Sara Thomas and UK Wikimedian of the Year Fran Allfrey.
