Biography I joined Wikimedia UK in October 2015 and work with the staff team, board, volunteers and partners to support and develop open knowledge. Immediately prior to this role I was the Chief Executive of Apples and Snakes, England’s leading organisation for performance poetry and spoken word. I have worked in the arts, voluntary and public sectors for nearly two decades, with other posts including Head of Outreach and Public Engagement at the House of Lords, Director of Creative Partnerships London West at Arts Council England, and Refugee Week National Co-ordinator at the British Refugee Council. I am passionate about participation in and access to the arts and culture, and wider social justice issues.

My work Lucy is the Chief Executive of Wikimedia UK. Her job is to lead the staff team and make sure that the programme is delivered using everyone in the community. She is responsible for the effective use of the charity's resources and reports to the Board. ...more
