Project goals
The aim of this project is to create stub articles with images for 62 pre 1880 newspapers published in Wales. The project uses images of first edition front pages from the newspapers, which have been uploaded to Wikimedia Commons by the National Library of Wales. Historical information about each newspaper can be found on the Welsh Newspapers Online website. This Project is now complete
