What problems are we trying to solve

  • People not having access to information
  • Better data journalism

Who is our audience?

  • People all over the world
  • Newspapers
  • Schools
  • We don't know
  • All ages
  • Sadly- those with digital literacy mostly

What organisations do we work with?

  • Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums
  • Different scales, community groups, regional groups, international groups

What problems do we have?

  • We all tell people similar things in different ways (can be confusing)
  • Organisations with unique content currently don't share it
  • Duplicating work
  • We don't know what each other are doing
  • Multi-lingual
  • Local culture is not incorporated
  • Branding over vision
  • We expect technology before human
  • We don't know what people want or need
  • The funding models encourage competition instead of real cooperation

Ideas

  • Take stock what infrastructures we all use
  • Share campaigns
  • Speaking with a joint voice
  • Making concrete links
  • Advocacy groups
  • Respond to consultations
