Supporters Survey
Introduction
Wikimedia UK intends to begin regular surveying of those who are past and current donors. This will primarily take place in the form of an annual survey conducted by email invite at the beginning of each financial year, but will be supplemented by feedback surveys for donors who attend events, cancel regular gifts or following high profile fundraising campaigns.
Annual donor survey
Welcome message
Welcome to the Wikimedia UK 2013 donor survey. We love the people who have made what we do possible - that's you!
Feedback and continuous improvement are important to Wikimedia UK because they help us do our job better, through knowing more about why people have been motivated to donate to us, and what areas of our work they would like to know more about.
This survey is part of this improvement process and will gather information and feedback about what has motivated our supporters to donate money to us, what they know about the activities their gifts have funded, and how we can communicate with them to keep them up to date. The survey results will be shared with the Wikimedia community and Wikimedia UKs staff and trustees to help in the Charity's commitment to improve the services we offers.
What answering these questions will meant for you:
- By answering these questions, you permit us to record your responses and agree to donate them to the public domain. This allows us to freely share your answers with others for the purpose of open analysis, research, and study.
- We will not share publicly your name, address, phone number, or email, but may quote anonymously from any comment you make in reporting, or publicity for the Charity.
- We may store responses to certain questions to follow up in future - for example, expressions of interest in attending training session may result in a follow up communication notifying you of training opportunities.
- You will always have the option to unsubscribe, and all communications will be as per Wikimedia UKs Donor Privacy policy.
The survey and follow up form have XX questions in total, should take no more than ten minutes of your time, and will materially improve the way that the Charity interacts with and serves those who have donated money in support.
