The Google spreadsheet linked to at the bottom of this page includes a column for direct debits actually received, but it only has one cell filled it and that's just for some of the DDs set up during the testing stages. Have any more been received? When do we actually process the DD mandates? It would be interesting to see how many of the DD mandates do actually result in a successful payment (and also, how many result in a second successful payment, but obviously we'll have to wait a bit for most than the testing mandates to reach their second payments). --Tango 19:24, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Yes, more direct debits have been received, but I don't want to fill that cell in until I've seen the bank statement. However, we do know that about 2% of DDs that we tried to collect in December were cancelled. This accords with the cancellation rate in the November DD run and indicates that the assumption we are using about DD cancellation over 1 year being 20% is in the right ballpark. Thank you for your response. I'm sorry, but I'm not clear on exactly what your numbers represent. That 2% cancellation rate - is that cancellations between the first and second payments or cancellations between the mandate being issued and the first payment? Also, aren't you using an assumption of 10% cancellation over the year, or did you change that? --Tango 19:16, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
