Gwledydd Prydain
Can't we just keep using Y Deyrnas Unedig (The UK) through the page, as Gwledydd Prydain (in my eyes at least) is a little like 'British Isles' and may confuse/offend.--Rhyswynne (talk) 14:05, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
- "Gwledydd Prydain" is used throughout cy, unless it refers to official (usually political) terminology, where DU is used. Llywelyn2000 (talk) 19:17, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
Wicifryngau DU
As the jury's out on this translation of Wikimedia UK, I suggest not including it.--Rhyswynne (talk) 14:05, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
- Until a month ago, yes "Wicifryngau" was accepted and used throughout Wicipedia Cymraeg. Recently, however, we have followed the pattern set down by other languages who use the English term, as I have done here. I have also included the secondary term as used on cy until around a month ago, as this is very pertinent in giving the whole picture to the reader. On a personal note, as I have said on cy during the last month, I prefer using "Wikimedia UK" rather than the fabricated term "Wicifryngau". Llywelyn2000 (talk) 19:17, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
