Good idea, and a convenient spread of dates. I'll add the 350th anniversary of the world's oldest scientific publication - the Royal Society are interested in doing something there. Daria has met Stefan Janusz who is the contact & an editor. Johnbod (talk) 15:52, 14 November 2014 (GMT)
- Thanks John, be great to get some scientific dates in there. I checked but no element has its anniversary though there must be other things. Jonathan Cardy (WMUK) (talk) 16:12, 14 November 2014 (GMT)
- Charles Matthews has suggested a few. They aren't linked to anniversaries and I think this is a good thing - I like the idea of a wishlist in general.
- Public building
- Moral Sciences Tripos (Cambridge, 19th century)
- Timothy Cruso, who was at school with Daniel Defoe and was the source of Robinson Crusoe's surname
- Jane Davy (Jane Kerr), society figure and wife of Humphry Davy
- Sketch Club, late 1950s TV series by Gordon Murray who did Trumpton etc.
- Dinah Mo, character in The Dandy.

- Thanks Stevie, well not everyone is going to want to do anniversaries, but they do give you access to the On this day section of the mainpage, and it is one way to build on the Battle of Clontarf model. As for Charles's list, you might want to refer him to w:Wikipedia:WikiProject Missing encyclopedic articles, or were you thinking of doing a set that we could do events around?
