If I'm in the UK when this is on, I'd be happy to do the "under the hood" talk. I should know more in the next couple of weeks and will let you know. I really like the idea of encouraging the use of GAs and FAs in public spaces - if there will be any zoos or similar attending, I'm sure we can find some examples of articles that we have on their animals. I'll be there. Smartse 18:33, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
Typical - make plans for one thing and then the other things I've been waiting for suddenly fall into place. At the moment I can't make it. Smartse 10:30, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Academia

Should we at least spend some time talking about the Wikipedia and academia and how instructors can integrate Wikipedia in to schools, I though part of the the goals of this was to rally university support for Wikipedia Ambassadors as well, Sadads 15:53, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

I think that's the plan, there are some ideas about who we can get involved at Wikipedia:Wikipedia:WikiProject Bristol/Local outreach. Steve and Martin could hopefully tell you more. Smartse 18:33, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Lunch idea

I went to a conference in the fall which had lunch tables that had designated discussion topics and people clusturing around those people to talk about issues in that topic area. Do we want to do that with the Wikipedians heading different discussions, or do we want those groups to form on their own? 92.14.163.69 14:26, 21 February 2011 (UTC)
