Increase the quality and quantity of coverage of subjects that are currently underrepresented on Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects

- Several images uploaded at request of editors
- 21 images of newly digitized Peniarth Manuscripts were added to Commons
- Simon Cobb developing and started uploading Welsh Literature data as part of WikiLlên project
- 6.4k edits to Wikidata - improving data for Welsh publishers

Support the development of open knowledge in the UK, by increasing the understanding and recognition of the value of open knowledge and advocating for change at an organizational, sectoral and public policy level
Progress
- Meetings with Whelf and CILIP about holding talks and workshops on Wikidata/Wikipedia
- Internal Meeting about incourperating Wikidata into our croud sourcing platform
- Invitations to speak at MCG conference at British Library, BL open data Week, CILIP Wales AGM and WikidataCON in Oct/Nov

Progress
- Meeting with Head of Aberystwyth Uni translation Course. Agreed to run event for all students (10/10/2019) and to support use of Wikipedia articles for core assignment
- Welsh Government funding Secured for Wiki Education pilot project:
- 10 short educational videos
- Article template developed with teachers for best provision of information for school pupils
- 100 Key Welsh language articles for students studying history identified and improved - to be approved by subject specialists.
- 4 trial events in Schools
- Working in partnership with Menter Iaith Môn
- utilizing exisiting CBAC/HWB content

- New project proposal accepted, to get volunteers to tag the location of things depicted in images shared on Wikidata, using IIIF. Data will be automatically stored in Wikidata.
- 1 Volunteers are currently working on writing Dictionary of Welsh Biography articles. 352 articles have been created to date.
