2012's coolest projects
Short version: What are our three coolest projects between Wikimania 2011 and Wikimania 2012?
Last year Lodewijk asked every chapter in advance what their three coolest projects were, and this resulted in an amazing collection of projects which were presented at Wikimania with very short introductions. This year, something similar will happen: every chapter will fill out a form listing their three best projects.
You can share nice meetups that took place in your country, collaboration with cultural instututions (including collaboration attempts), educational programs, presentations and conferences or anything that we, as a chapter, spent time on.What should we put down as the chapter's three coolest projects this year? Please vote below (using # ~~~~), and optionally add a supporting sentence. Voting has closed - the winners are listed below.

MonmouthpediA
Monmouthpedia is the first Wikipedia project to embrace a whole town - specifically, the Welsh town of Monmouth. The project aims to cover every single notable place, person, artefact, plant, animal and other things in Monmouth in as many languages as possible, but with a special focus on Welsh. This is a wiki-project on a completely different scale.

World War I editathon
Our first World War I editathon brought together 7 academics and over 20 Wikimedians with the aim of improving Wikipedia coverage of World War I. It's probably the first time university professors from many different institutions have come into a room with Wikipedians to help write articles! The aim was also to build bridges between the two communities, and to get editors who already write on military history topics to get involved in outreach work. The event was organised jointly by Wikimedia UK and JISC, who are a UK government digital learning agency.
