Abstract/Crynodeb

Presentation of Txikipedia, the first Wikipedia version for children integrated within the Basque Wikipedia. Txiki means "little" in Basque language, and now we have launched this new project offering a thousand articles designed specially for children from 8 to 13 years, with a goal to write all the human knowledge for kids. Txikipedia articles are written in a child-friendly language, shorter, easier to read, with interesting but not elevated facts, a graphical interface and a bigger typography. It has inmediately aroused the interest of the educational world in the Basque Country.

Cyflwyniad Txikipedia, y fersiwn gyntaf o Wikipedia ar gyfer plant wedi ei integreiddio oddi mewn y Wikipedia Basgeg. Ystyr Txiki yn yr iaith Fasgeg ydy ‘bychan’, ac rydym nawr wedi lansio’r prosiect newydd yma sy’n cynnig mil o erthyglau wedi eu cynllunio yn benodol ar gyfer plant rhwng 8 ac 13 oed, gyda’r nod o ysgrifennu’r holl wybodaeth ddynol ar gyfer plant. Ysgrifennir erthyglau Txikipedia mewn iaith sy’n gyfeillgar i blant, sy’n fyrrach, yn haws ei darllen, gyda ffeithiau diddorol ond nid rhai aruchel, rhyngwyneb graffigol a theipograffeg mwy. Y mae wedi ennyn diddordeb y byd academaidd yng Ngwlad y Basg yn syth.
