<tommorris> harej: would you mind sending an email to me about the DC bid? specifically, the timings of when the Foundation provided money and so on, and whether or not you had any support from the foundation to prepare the bid.

<harej> I met with the Wikimedia Foundation in late October 2011 regarding money. The Wikimedia Foundation was bid-agnostic.

<harej> I have an entire draft Wikimania timeline with supporting documents that I'll be releasing.

<tommorris> rather, I mean did the Foundation provide any support to all the bids? that's to say, were Foundation people helpful etc.?

<harej> I did not solicit their help in preparing the bid.

<harej> I'm waiting for some more contributions to the report.
