Apologies for the late report - I wanted to wait until I could report this: We have now raised over £10,000. This was the amount we decided on as the minimum we would be satisfied with, so the fundraiser is now officially a success!

The rate of donations has dropped considerably, unfortunately. The WMF is showing a similar (although slightly smaller) drop, so I expect it is just that all the regular users that were going to donate have done so and we're now only getting donations from slightly less frequent users. We have now posted a blog entry and some tweets and I've added a link to the thank you page for people to tweet about their donations, so hopefully that will get some more donations coming in (although it seems nobody has clicked the link yet - I'll make it bigger if they still haven't by this time tomorrow). We'll need to start talking to the media soon. I was waiting for the WMF to start their media campaign - has that happened yet?
