Apologies for not making the meeting. In general I wasn't planning to attend much as it puts me in conflict with my work; I am cautious to be too closely involved with a committee which will potentially create more contract work for myself (obviously). I'd be happier being invited to answer specific questions either in person or in writing before/after the meeting.

  • EE to consult TM about advisability of moving to a separate server for the QRpedia hosting, to ensure confidence in performance.
The community server is low-use at the moment, and there is no indication that it will be clogged up soon (even if it is decided to move this wiki there then that is a task that will take some months to negotiate and complete, I imagine!). In such a case I'd suggest a seperate server for the WMUK wiki rather than anything else.
Community was always intended as a place to run community projects/hosting. It has acres of capacity and I'd suggest that having a whole seperate server for QRpedia is a waste of money and doesn't give much extra in terms of reliability.
  • TM to advise KB how long establishing on a separate hosting may take in terms of other work priorities
Half a day to a days work to set up the server with our default configuration. --ErrantX (talk) 11:41, 20 February 2013 (UTC)
