Fae, WRT the book The British Library Treasures in Focus - is this yours or WMUKs? I'm revamping the library page and want to know whether to include it in the main listing or not. Richard Symonds (WMUK) (talk) 10:43, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
- I've not yet had a reply to this, I've added it to the list to be on the safe side. Richard Symonds (WMUK) (talk) 11:49, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
Interesting
I stumbled across this on recent changes. Sounds like a great initiative, and I might be able to donate some books. It would be great to know a little bit more about how it works and what the plans are for it. Leutha (talk) 13:09, 24 January 2013 (UTC)
- It's been running for a while (sort of), in that we've always owned books, and they've always been available for hire. We've accumulated 20 or so, of which a fair few are rather useful. However, given that we have the money for postage, and a freepost address... it seems silly to not make them available to volunteers. So long as postage doesn't get too high, these should be available for anyone in the UK to loan out. Richard Symonds (WMUK) (talk) 13:20, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

- Very interesting, actually... I'll take a look at this properly next week. Richard Symonds (WMUK) (talk) 14:44, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

Dodgy links
Some of the links need to be re-done as they go to the Ukrainian Wikipedia (UK prefix). Leutha (talk) 14:53, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
- I fixed them (you need the "en" prefix as well to tell it you want en.wikipedia.org, not uk.wikipedia.org or en.wikimedia.org), so they should all work now. Harry Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 20:27, 23 March 2013 (UTC)
