With regard to the minuted decision "It was agreed that the office can support Gibraltarpedia with in-kind contributions, but not funds" - I do not believe this was the decision. We decided to support the Gibraltarpedia project with our normal communications management for events and responding to press enquiries and we had a specific discussion to confirm we would support Gibraltarpedia with our standard merchandizing (leaflets, badges and so forth). We did not give a general agreement for in-kind support. This might be incorrectly interpreted as providing staff time for a month or a desk in the office for an extended period. Can this please be corrected while the minutes are still draft? Thanks --Fæ (talk) 08:18, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
- I've rewritten the recorded decision here, and added on the missing action. Please could you edit it directly if it's still not completely accurate? Thanks. Mike Peel (talk) 09:18, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
- No problem, it reads a lot better against my personal expectations. My recollection of what was agreed will be no better than anyone else's, I guess the learning point is to ensure everyone looks at the text on Etherpad (perhaps by projecting it on-screen for everyone) at the moment in the meeting when any "decision" (or "action" I guess), is being minuted. If we leave the board members to only think about the text months later, then you can expect everyone to be vague if there is doubt... --Fæ (talk) 10:48, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
